The Central Indiana Fairy Trail and the annual Enchanted Fairy Festival are getting a new home! These popular fairy events are canceled for 2024 but set to return in 2025. Stay tuned for updates and more information.
We’ve been seeking out fairy trails across the country ever since my littles decided they were real life fairies. The newest Fairy Trail is so close to home and you can bet it’s on our summer bucket list!
Central Indiana Fairy Trail
Just west of Indianapolis, Hendricks county is home to a special activity that’s available year-round; a fairy trail! Kids (and adults) will love peering into fairy homes, searching for fairy doors and seeing what fun surprises await at every stop. It’s a super easy activity to get involved in — stop by the Brownsburg Public Library Fair Headquarters and grab a map. From there, take a little driving tour as you cross different stops off of your list. This adventure will lead you to parks, businesses, museums, office buildings, family even venues and even food places.
At each individual stop, you’ll scan in a QR code on your phone and watch a video greeting from a fairy and then find their home. My kids love snapping a photo of the fairy home for their photo album. Some places are interactive!
