There’s a tent. Two of the children I’m with are headed for the tent. The bloody handprint and ominous lighting make me want to whisper, “Don’t go in there.”

But they’ll go in no matter what. They’re looking for a reason to scream, a reason to jump out of their shoes.

The Wicked Woods are what you’ll find at the 54th annual Museum Guild’s Haunted House. It’s the biggest fundraiser of the year for the TCM Guild and it supports our museum in so many ways.

Tickets are $8 per person. You can purchase tickets at the box office. The haunted house is not included with museum admission.

Open Tuesday through Sunday, now through October 31, children and adults of all ages can find a time that suits their level of fear.

Check out the Lights on Hours if your child scares easily and if your kiddo is looking for a scare, they’ll find it at the Frightening Hours.

Recommended for children who dare to be scared

What ages is this good for?

All ages can enjoy this experience. Children 1 and under are free. We’ve attended with our children age 0-7 and they’ve all enjoyed it. We have not tried the Frightening Hours but my 7 year old thinks this is the year. My friend with pre-teens and tweens that have attended the Frightening Hours have mixed reviews. About half of them have said that their children were so scared and never want to go back during lights off hours and the other half said their children loved it and really appreciated it. You are the best judge for your child. I have one child that I doubt I will ever take except during Lights On hours.
