Families are invited to enjoy Camilla Paints the Town, a colorful children’s opera performed by the Indianapolis Opera at the Nora Branch Library.
This charming musical story follows Camilla the Chameleon, who has only ever experienced the world in black and white. When she discovers color for the first time, Camilla begins to see the world with wonder and possibility. Along the way, children learn about creativity, self-confidence, and believing in themselves.
The performance blends storytelling with beautiful music inspired by famous composers, offering young audiences a fun and engaging introduction to opera and the performing arts. The program lasts approximately 45 minutes, making it perfect for children with shorter attention spans.
This family-friendly event is a wonderful opportunity to introduce kids to live music, storytelling, and the magic of opera in a welcoming library setting.
