The public is welcome to tour the brand-new Carmel Fire Department Headquarters on Thursday, August 15 at 6pm.
During this time you can also see the new interactive S.A.F.E. House. The S.A.F.E. (Stay Alive Family Education) House is an immersive learning space that is designed to look like a mini-town complete with multiple buildings, a fire engine, and an ambulance designed to teach kids essential fire and life safety skills through realistic simulations of house fires, tornadoes, and other natural disasters. allowing children to engage all their senses through sights, sounds, and hands-on activities.
The Carmel Fire Department will also be hosting their Public Safety Day on Saturday!
