Spend a summer evening around the campfire at Cool Creek Park. This free family program combines live music, wildlife education, and classic campfire fun in a beautiful outdoor setting.
The evening begins with music led by a Moriah Music educator before guests enjoy a special presentation from a local animal life organization. Families will learn about Indiana wildlife, conservation efforts, and ways to help protect native animals while enjoying a relaxed campfire atmosphere.
Of course, no campfire program would be complete without marshmallows. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and settle in for an hour of nature-inspired fun.
What to Expect:
Live music to kick off the evening
Animal presentation
Campfire atmosphere and marshmallows
Family-friendly outdoor learning experience
Free admission with no registration required
Know Before You Go:
Meet at the Cool Creek Campfire Ring
Bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating
If rain is forecasted, the program will move indoors to the nature center
This is a great opportunity for kids to learn animals while enjoying one of the simple pleasures of summer: gathering around a campfire with family and friends.
