Join Indy Parks in the Children’s Garden to learn about various gardening and nature topics you’ve always wanted to know more about. Learn how to grow new plants; make healthier gardens; learn how to support local wildlife; learn new hobbies; make healthy lifestyle choices and such much more! This is a drop-in demonstration program. Feel free to come any time between 2 and 3 and stay for as long as you’d like (demonstration slated to last 10-15 at a time) and explore the Children’s Garden afterwards. Each program will have a small take home item. The program is free, but donations are appreciated.

Drop-in to the education classroom any time between 2 and 3 pm to learn about wrapping up your harvest in the garden. Their naturalist will lead you through a very brief presentation on what to do with all the holiday stuff and gifts you’ve gathered, after the holidays. How to reuse wrapping paper; how and or where to recycle your tree; crafts with old ornaments; ways to benefit others in need by regifting unwanted items!
