Details:
Meet one of Eagle Creek Park’s incredible falcon ambassadors during Falcon Fridays at the Ornithology Center. Each Friday afternoon, a raptor trainer brings out a falcon for a short educational program where visitors can learn about the bird’s story, natural history, and the important role falcons play in the ecosystem.

Guests will have the chance to observe the falcon up close while naturalists share fascinating facts about these powerful birds of prey and answer questions about raptor conservation. The bird will be presented by its trainer, but public touching or handling is not permitted.

Most programs take place outdoors, weather permitting. If the program is moved indoors, space will be limited to the first five guests, so arriving early is recommended. This quick 20-minute program is a great addition to a family visit to Eagle Creek Park.

For large groups or additional information, call 317-327-BIRD. Programs are not held on city holidays.

We do our best to provide the most relevant and timely information to our readers, but please confirm dates, times, and availability before attending an event. Events are posted on IWK from information found on, but not limited to, attraction sites, government city sites; as well as submissions from individual attractions, press releases and PR firms.
