Get inspired at the Fishers Make-Off 2026, a one-of-a-kind creative event at Ignite Studio inside Hamilton East Public Library. This all-day event showcases talented artists as they compete to create original works using the library’s makerspace tools and materials.
Artists will have just 6 hours to complete their pieces, with awards presented at 4:00 PM. Guests are invited to watch the creative process unfold, explore the studio, and participate in hands-on art experiences throughout the day.
This year’s theme is mixed media, and there are plenty of opportunities for families to get involved, including:
• Free art kits for the first 50 visitors
• Create your own collage with a shadowbox frame
• Contribute to a community assemblage wall
• Design metallic mandalas
From 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, guests ages 8+ can register for the Public Maker Challenge, where participants will learn how to create a Chine-collé print using a unique printmaking technique. Awards will be given in youth, teen, adult, and family categories.
Whether you’re an artist or just love to create, this interactive event is a fun and inspiring way to experience the world of making.
