Game Highlight: Negro Leagues Week

Join the Indians as we pay tribute to the rich history of the Negro Leagues in Indianapolis by partnering with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. The ABCs featured Indianapolis native Oscar Charleston, regarded today as one of the greatest ballplayers of all time despite never having the opportunity to play in the big leagues. Charleston was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1976. The Indians will wear ABCs-inspired jerseys while the Clippers honor the Negro Leagues’ Columbus Blue Birds with on-field jerseys, too.  More Info

Game Highlight: ABCs Jersey Auction

The Indians will wear specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit Indianapolis Indians Charities. The auction will run from gates open on Tuesday, June 20 until the end of the seventh inning on Saturday, June 24.
