Heartland Film & Edward Jones present Merry Movie Nights at the Fort Ben Cultural Campus!
Get your picture taken on the holiday Red Carpet, don your ugly holiday sweater and enjoy this classic film. Arts for Lawrence’s Theater at the Fort will open at 4:30 PM, and the film will begin at 5 PM with no previews.
Merry Movie Nights is ending the season with an ugly sweater contest! Check in to the box office at least 10 minutes before the film start time to be considered for our award! Our winner and runner-up will receive Heartland Film merchandise and holiday-themed prizes!
This screening will be presented in the original black & white.
The Jimmy Stewart Legacy Award
Established in 2015 in partnership with the Stewart Family, the Heartland Film Festival has presented the annual Jimmy Stewart Legacy Award and $5,000 cash prize to a single winner, selected from the Festival’s feature-length narrative and documentary titles. The winning film will best embody the ongoing legacy of actor and national hero Jimmy Stewart and will demonstrate the triumph of the human spirit through determination and the defiance of odds, humble vulnerability, and courage in the face of adversity.
Heartland Film Festival is honored to be the only film festival worldwide with an award in Stewart’s name sanctioned by his family.
