Martin Luther King is observed on the third Monday of January, but what does that mean? Test your knowledge with our self-guided MLK Hike! Pick up a quiz at the Earth Discovery Center and head out for an easy ½ mile hike to see if you can discover the answers.
The Earth Discovery Center is open Monday – Saturday from 10am-5pm and 1pm-5pm on Sundays. Quizzes are available outside of the EDC when the building is closed. The Earth Discovery Center will be closed Monday, January 17th, in observance of the holiday, but trail will still be available to hike, restrooms available at the Marina
Enjoy the peace of the forest in winter as you read some of Martin Luther King’s many memorable words and learn about his life and legacy. . Free with park admission. Park admission is $5 per car for Marion County residents and $6 per car for non-residents.
