Discover what animals do in the winter and learn the basic of ice fishing.
Meet an Interpretative Naturalist and a few of his cold-blooded animal friends from Fort Harrison State Park to learn more about what they and other critters do when it’s cold outside. Find out what fish do under the ice and how to catch them. Clint Kowalik, former DNR Sport Fishing Educator, will discuss and show the basics of ice fishing: gear, safety, and techniques.
Event will start indoors but will end outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
