Indy Parks announced the first wave of pool openings this summer in Indianapolis. The following pools will open on Saturday, June 4, 2022:
- Bethel Park
- Ellenberger Park
- Frederick Douglass Park
- Garfield Park
- Indy Island Aquatic Center
- Perry Park
- Thatcher Park
- Willard Park
While this is a great start to the summer, Indy Parks promises more pool openings to be announced in early June! A few Indy Park Pools have been under repair or closed for staffing issues, so we’re especially excited to see what pools will be back later this summer.
Free Membership for Marion County Residents
New this year! Marion County residents are eligible for FREE pool memberships. Memberships are valid at all Indy Parks Pools during the summer season of 2022. Membership does not guarantee admission when the pool is closed or full for the day. Check the Indy Parks website for information about opening and closing dates, and hours of operation.
To get your FREE membership, residents must have a state-issued ID and be a resident of Marion County. Starting next week, on May 31, visit any Indy Parks Family Center or pool location, or the Customer Service Center at Riverside Regional Park to register. Passes are valid throughout the summer.
Additional pool openings could be announced in early June 2022.
