Nights of Lights at Mounds State Park is a festive drive-through holiday light display set inside the park’s campground. Running November 28 through December 28, 2025, the event is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with gates open from 6:00–9:00 p.m. Admission is $10 per vehicle, and all proceeds support programs and projects at Mounds State Park. Families can enjoy a fun, seasonal drive filled with creative, family-friendly light displays decorated by community members, organizations, and businesses.
Those who want to get involved can reserve and decorate a campsite for the 2025 season. Campsite reservations are free and open to individuals, organizations, and businesses, with priority registration given to current season decorators. Decorators provide their own lights and décor and transform the campsite into a unique holiday display for thousands of visitors to enjoy, making it a meaningful way to support the park while spreading holiday cheer.
