Seven Spots for Music Loving Kids

I’ve always loved music. I love that no matter which language you speak, all music sounds the same. I also love that it’s such an easy way to connect with kids. From practically the moment they are born, we are singing to our kids.  We teach through music, we counsel through music, and we love through music. There are so many places in our great city for kids who love music, and I’ve done your homework for you—here is a list of places for your music-loving kids to thrive.

  1. The Music Playhouse: Carmel and Broad Ripple locations

The Music Playhouse is an interactive wonderland for kids of all ages. They offer programs for kids from birth to age 6. The Music Playhouse offers sessions that help children in early childhood learn through music. Song, dance, instruments, and repetition are taught in the playhouse. Parents attend classes with the kids, and they’re encouraged to continue the learning at home. Open house demo classes are available, if you’d like to pop in and check it out. You can click here to visit their website. The cost for a full 10-week session is $150, which includes the classes, a CD, and a songbook. They are currently located in Carmel, with a second location recently opened in Broad Ripple at The Riviera Club.
