The Indy Parks Arts for All program is a fun, educational, and interactive way to try out a new medium with a variety of themes and is great for families looking for things to do in Indianapolis with kids. Let creativity take center stage at Arts for All, a fun and flexible drop-in art program hosted by Indy Parks at Southeastway Park, Christian Park, Frederick Douglas Park, Brookside Park, Indy Island, Ellenberger Park, Grassy Creek, Indianapolis World Sports Park, Krannert Park, Thatcher Park, Rhodius Park, Riverside Park, Windor Park, Washington Park, Pride Park, Garfield Park, and Broad Ripple Park. Young artists can stop by to explore hands-on art activities designed to spark imagination and creativity. Participants will work with a variety of materials to create their own unique project and take their finished artwork home the same day.

I was actually surprised it held their attention for more than 30 minutes.
This welcoming program encourages kids to experiment with art in a relaxed environment where creativity and self-expression are the focus. Whether your child loves drawing, crafting, or trying something new, Arts for All offers a great opportunity to explore the visual arts while meeting other creative kids.
Indy Parks provides a scenic setting with trails, woods, and open space surrounding the Activity Center, making it easy to combine the program with outdoor exploration.
The Art Center’s theme changes monthly, so you’ll be sure to find the perfect project for your little Picasso. Other themes have included “Picasso Blues,” “Islamic Stained Glass,” and “Scratch Art Comics”.
