The popular and beloved Indianapolis traditions of St. Patrick’s Day return to downtown this week with a Parade, Block Party, Shamrock Walk/Run, and the Greening of the Canal!
The 44th Annual Indy St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on Friday, March 13th at 11:30 am and is completely FREE! Festivities start at 10 am, and the party continues until 3 pm.
The Indy St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival is an annual tradition for family and friends. Festivities begin at 10 am with the Parade Tent and Block Party downtown. The family-friendly parade features Irish-themed floats and helium balloons, marching bands, music, Irish dancers, Catholic schools, Irish organizations, local companies, and non-profits with St. Patrick’s Day themes.
The entire event is free and open to the public and will run rain or shine. The festivities conclude at 3 pm, but the parade is generally over by 1 pm.
