Give your tween or teen the confidence and skills they need with SafeSitter, a hands-on training program designed to prepare students for babysitting and real-life situations.
This full-day, instructor-led class teaches essential life skills through engaging, real-world scenarios and interactive practice. Students will learn how to handle emergencies, care for younger children, and build confidence as responsible caregivers.
Topics include:
• Safety skills for managing emergencies at home or while babysitting
• First aid and rescue techniques, including choking response and CPR basics
• Childcare skills, such as age-appropriate activities and behavior guidance
• Life and business skills, like setting rates, screening jobs, and professionalism
Students should bring a sack lunch or money for the café. Registration is required by the Wednesday prior to each session.
This co-ed class is perfect for middle school students who are ready to take on more responsibility and learn valuable, lifelong skills.
