Lulu’s very first experience with the sporting world was with Pacers basketball! We were finalists in a contest to win free season tickets in the special Area 55 (Roy Hibbert’s fan section). Sadly, we didn’t win but that’s okay, we forgive Roy for his lack in judgement at that moment :).
A few months later, before Lulu was even eating solid foods, we took her to her first Pacer’s game. I was a little bit nervous about the noise and the activity but she wasn’t scared or timid at all! The late night didn’t phase her either! She was so interested in everything; the music, the lights, the people! For that reason, I can say with experience, that the Pacers game would be a fantastic time for your whole family! All ages!
There are several home games each week throughout the season. The Pacers season runs through the end of April. The best deal we have found is on Tuesday nights when you can get Two for Tuesday: buy one admission, get one free! Tickets start at $15 each so if you go on a Tuesday, it’s cheaper than a movie ticket!
On Lucas Oil Family Nights for $60 you can score
- Four tickets to a Pacers game
- Four quality Pacers T-shirts: You and your family get these for free – an $18 value each.
- Four Pacers Family Meals: Each meal includes a hot dog, bag of chips, and a Pepsi product – a $22 value
Another option is to join the Pacers Kids Club for $12. Kids under 14 can join and get tickets to 12 home games, a t-shirt and other special kids club opportunities! Totally worth it!
The Pacers play at Bankers Life Fieldhouse (formerly Conseco Fieldhouse) which is located at 125 S. Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis.
