We’re excited to launch Butler Discovery Camps – a suite of themed camp weeks that will excite and engage your curiosity. Perfect for budding chefs, astronauts, architects, farmers, and more!
We’re offering 5 themes this summer. Mix and match depending on the weeks that fit your schedule:
Art in Nature
Discover art in Nature! During this week, campers will make paper, go on nature walks, learn about nature journaling, and make crafts with natural materials. Perfect for your young naturalist!
Farm to Table
Discover creativity in food and where it comes from! During this week, we’ll visit the Butler Farm, learn about growing vegetables, learn to cook, compete in a Chef Jr. challenge, and make art and play games inspired by farming and food. Perfect for your young chef or farmer!
Game Makers
It’s all about games this week! We’ll spend the first half of the week playing all sorts of games: board, card, large movement games, and more. We will learn about teamwork, communication, being a good sport, as well as design. The second half of the week each camper will be able to make their own game to share and play.
Creative Construction
Let’s get building and designing! Campers will design and build houses and buildings, build a life-sized cardboard village, and make crafts and play games based on this week’s camp theme. Perfect for your young builder or designer!
Our Universe
Let’s venture into outer space! Campers will visit the observatory at Butler, play games and make crafts that are out of this world, build their own rocket ship, and more! Perfect for your young astronomer or astronaut.

Esports Camps at Butler University
Step into the exciting world of competitive gaming at Butler Esports Camp! Held at Butler’s state-of-the-art Esports Park, campers ages 12-18 will join teams, participate in tournaments, and sharpen their skills in a fun, supportive environment. Each week is focused on either Fortnite or Valorant.
