Everyone is talking about Daniel’s Vineyard so we had to stop in and check it out!
What’s the best part? The warm fire pits near or at a lot of the tables or the artisan pizza? Yes, it’s all of that and more! Here are six reasons you’ll love taking your whole family to Daniel’s Vineyard this fall.
Kids Eat Free at Daniel’s Vineyard Monday – Thursday
That’s right, Daniel’s Vineyard is family friend and pet friendly. Soft drinks are available for purchase, there’s a wonderful menu with sandwiches, wood fired pizzas, charcuterie and salads. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll grab a Nutella brownie and pair it with your favorite red…or whatever you like. Kids eat free every Monday-Thursday 12-4 PM with the purchase of an adult meal.
Carmel Apple Cider Slushies
Sure, you’ve had those cider slushies at the pumpkin patch, but you won’t be sharing this one with the kids, it’s all yours!
Self Guided Wine Tastings
Stop in to the tasting room, pay your fee and take your choices back to your table with notes about your selections. I love this method of tasting, I can enjoy the live music, chat with my friends and watch the kids play.
Free Yard Games for Hallo-weekends
Every weekend, kids and their adults can play ring toss, pumpkin bowling and pumpkin tick tack toe. There’s also a really cool scavenger hunt to get you out and around the property. Once you find all of the cauldrons on your map, stop in to the tasting room to grab your free trick or treat bag. Costumes are welcome.
Pumpkin Painting
For a small fee, your kids will be entertained and consumed with painting their own pumpkin creations on Saturday and Sunday. Priced at $3-10, there are several sizes of pumpkins and squashes to paint.
Live Music at Daniel’s Vineyard
There’s live music almost every day. Enjoy hearing from local artists as you sip your Syrah or savor your Rosé.
As you can see, Daniel’s Vineyard and Winery is a great place to visit with your whole family and fall is the best time!
Daniel’s Vineyard Hours

Parking at Daniel’s Vineyard
Free parking is available in the lot in front of the winery. Several spots are located very close to the tasting room and additional spaces are available in the large lot. Some spaces may be reserved for wedding parties and their guests.
Family Friendly Wineries
Many Indy area families love exploring and trying kid-friendly wineries. Daniel’s Vineyard is one of several family friendly wineries near Indianapolis. Others include Oliver Winery, Spencer Farm Winery and Urban Vines. In our experience, each of these wineries go out of their way to be hospitable towards families with children.
