Spencer Farm Winery

Spencer Farm has always been a popular place for families to visit for a morning or afternoon of strawberry picking. Spencer Berry Farm strawberry picking has grown to be such a popular summer activity, that often there are days that berries cannot be picked because they need time to ripen. Recently, families have enjoyed visiting Spencer Farm to select a live Christmas tree for their homes. Now, adults can enjoy the fruits of the farm at the Spencer Farm Winery.

Winery at Spencer Farm

An 1883 farmhouse sits in front of the Spencer Farm property, right on the road. It may have gone unnoticed for decades by the thousands of visitors, but there’s no ignoring it now. The beautiful farmhouse has been restored and transformed into the newest Indiana winery to hit the trail. Vineyards seemingly popped up overnight and surround the home and the parking lot.

A beautiful indoor area welcomes guests of all ages for games and “family wine,” a cup of grape juice. Adults gather around a tasting counter and lounge in the front window as they enjoy the red wines, white wines and fruit wines that bring the Spencer Farm fruit picking experience full circle.
