Introduce your kids to the magic of opera during Camilla Paints the Town, a delightful children’s performance presented by the Indianapolis Opera at the Fort Ben Branch Library.
This engaging musical story follows Camilla the Chameleon, who has only ever seen the world in black and white. As Camilla discovers color for the first time, she begins to see the world in a whole new way. Through her journey, children learn about creativity, self-confidence, and believing in themselves.
The performance features music inspired by famous composers and blends storytelling with live opera singing in a format designed especially for young audiences. The program lasts about 45 minutes, making it a perfect introduction to the performing arts for kids.
