Enjoy an afternoon of live music at the Circulating Sound Concert featuring the Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis at Central Library. This free, family-friendly concert will fill the Clowes Auditorium with music inspired by stories and tales.
The Indianapolis Philharmonic, an all-volunteer community orchestra, will perform a one-hour program featuring light classical favorites and music kids will recognize. Families can look forward to selections from Bluey and How to Train Your Dragon, along with classical favorites such as music from Grieg’s Peer Gynt, Haydn’s Toy Symphony, William Grant Still’s Afro-American Symphony, and Copland’s Hoe Down from Rodeo.
The concert will also include instrument demonstrations, making it a fun and educational experience for children who are curious about how orchestras work.
The Circulating Sound Concert Series brings live music from talented local artists to Central Library and other Indianapolis Public Library locations throughout the year.
This free performance is open to the public and perfect for families, music lovers, and anyone who enjoys live performances.
