See a majestic bald eagle up close during Eagle Enrichment at Eagle Creek Park’s Ornithology Center. Each Sunday afternoon, visitors can watch a raptor trainer or volunteer provide a food enrichment activity for Carson, the park’s Bald Eagle Ambassador.
These enrichment sessions are designed to keep the eagle mentally stimulated while giving guests an opportunity to observe natural behaviors and learn more about bald eagles and raptor care. Naturalists will share interesting facts about Carson and answer questions about wildlife conservation and the role of animal ambassadors.
This outdoor program takes place rain or shine and lasts about 30 minutes, making it easy to add to a day exploring Eagle Creek Park’s trails and nature areas.
Large groups are encouraged to call ahead with questions at 317-327-BIRD. Please note that programs are not held on city holidays.
