Shiny Hunters of Noblesville is turning Forest Park into a two-day home base for Pokemon GO Wild Area: Global – and you do not have to play the game to have a good day here. Admission is free, with no tickets and no registration. Each day stands on its own, so come for an afternoon or stay all weekend.
What to expect both days:
Free face painting – artists on site with eight exclusive designs, full-face or on arms and hands, plus free character headbands for everyone.
Food trucks – Blue Smoke BBQ and Fenny’s Hot Dogs both days; Cafe Huesca coffee cart on Sunday.
Hidden Poke Ball hunt – five hidden around the park each day. Bring one back to the Check-In Station to claim a prize. Free to play, anyone can win.
15-prize raffle – you choose which prize your tickets go toward instead of hoping a number comes up. Children too young to check in still get tickets. Drawings at 5:30 PM daily.
Free survival kits – the first 100 trainers through check-in each day get an exclusive event patch, an in-game item code and extra raffle tickets. Resets Sunday.
Charging and seating – high-speed phone charging hubs in both shelters, shaded seating, and activities running all day.
Hosted by Shiny Hunters of Noblesville, a free Pokemon GO community group and official Community Ambassador group running three to seven meetups a week, co-hosted with Noblesville Parks & Recreation and Hamilton East Public Library.
