Details:
The City of Carmel invites the community to a meaningful Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony honoring the millions of lives lost and reaffirming a commitment to ensuring such atrocities are never repeated.

This year’s ceremony features a keynote address by Dr. Alex Kor, a Carmel resident and son of Holocaust survivors Michael and Eva Mozes Kor. Dr. Kor continues his parents’ legacy by educating future generations about the Holocaust and the importance of remembrance. The program will also include special remarks and a film preview from filmmaker and composer Ashton Gleckman, featuring his project We Shall Not Die Now.

Additional participants include local faith leaders, student speakers, and performances, creating a powerful and reflective experience for attendees.

Following the ceremony, guests are invited to a complimentary luncheon in the Tarkington lobby (first-come, first-served).

This free community event offers an opportunity for families and individuals to come together in remembrance, education, and reflection.
