Solar Eclipse Viewers

Hamilton County is directly in the solar eclipse path on April 8. You will learn some history and folklore bout this astronomical event and make safe viewers. Along the hike, you will search for the perfect spot in the park for the April 8 viewing.

Careers Where Every Day is Earth Day

What type of jobs involve conservation or restoration of our natural resources? This program will be a springboard for you to delve deeper if one of these careers inspires you. On your hike, you will look for signs of spring.

Luna Moths

Ephemeral and elusive, the luna moth is a beautiful insect. You will study its lifecycle and create a piece of luna moth-inspired art. On your hike, you will look for places the moth might hide during the day.
