Celebrate the Year of the Horse at the Lunar New Year Festival at Central Library. Hosted by the Indiana Association of Chinese Americans (IACA) and Indianapolis Chinese Performing Arts, Inc. (ICPAI), this lively cultural celebration features traditional performances, interactive experiences, and opportunities to learn about Chinese heritage.
Festival-goers can enjoy a stage performance featuring traditional lion dance, Chinese dance, Chinese orchestra music, and Tai Chi demonstrations. Cultural vendors will also be on-site sharing interactive activities and cultural displays.
Vendor booths will open at 11:00 AM, and the live performances begin at noon.
This event was rescheduled from March 7 to April 4, 2026.
Families are invited to come experience the sights, sounds, and traditions of Lunar New Year in a festive and welcoming environment.
Registration is not required, but it is encouraged for planning purposes.
