That’s why Regal Theatres offers Sensory-Friendly Movies, making it easier for families to enjoy the magic of the big screen in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.
This event is featured on Indy with Kids in partnership with Tendercare Home Health. For over 30 years, Tendercare has been helping medically complex children and their families thrive at home. Whether through paying family members to deliver care or connecting children with experienced pediatric nurses, Tendercare strives to enrich children’s lives at home in every way.
What Makes These Screenings Different?
Lights Stay Dim, Not Dark – Instead of the usual pitch-black theater, the lights stay at a comfortable dim level so kids feel more at ease.
Lower Volume for Sensitive Ears – No more ear-covering moments! The sound is turned down to a more manageable level so kids can enjoy the movie without discomfort.
No Sitting Still Required! – Kids are free to move around, dance, or make noise—no need to worry about disturbing others because everyone is here for the same reason.
