It’s time for a check-up! Kids are invited to bring their favorite teddy bear, stuffie, or doll to Gateway Hancock Health for a playful, hands-on Teddy Bear Clinic. This free event helps children learn how to care for their beloved stuffed friends while becoming more comfortable with medical equipment, check-ups, and healthcare visits.
Families will “check in” their special patient at the front desk, receive a chart, and wait in the Gateway Hancock Health waiting room while enjoying snacks from Leo’s Market & Eatery and fun activities. When called back, children will help measure their stuffie’s height, weight, and temperature before visiting stations for vitals, vaccinations, provider exams, bandages, casts, blood draws, breathing treatments, and more.
Each family will receive fun supplies to help keep their stuffie or doll in “beary” good health at home, and giveaways will take place throughout the evening.
