Young music lovers and their stuffed friends are invited to the Teddy Bear Concert Series at the Whitestown Branch Library. Designed especially for children ages 3–7, this interactive program introduces kids to the instruments of the orchestra through storytelling, movement, and live music.
Musicians from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra join a narrator to perform engaging musical stories written by ISO violinist Victoria Kintner Griswold. During the program, children can move along with the music, interact with the musicians, and even try playing real violins.
Each performance lasts about 30 minutes, making it a fun and approachable introduction to live classical music for young audiences.
Children are encouraged to bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal along for the concert.
