Indy Action BMX | Support a Local Business in Need

Indy Action is in dire need of community support through volunteerism, financial assistance and donations of goods and services such as construction equipment and other materials.

I recently researched several local BMX tracks to seek out the best one that is centrally located for my son as he wishes to become involved in BMX racing.  During my search, I reached out to Paul Obear, President and Track Operator, of Indy Action BMX located at the Marion County Fairgrounds as I really liked that location and the information I read online about their track.  The organization was founded in May of 2011, and is a 501c3 non-profit corporation.  IAB’s mission is to provide the Indianapolis community with a safe environment that promotes good health, sportsmanship, self-esteem, BMX skill building and overall family fun while improving and maintaining the BMX Racing facility known as Indy Action BMX located at the Marion County Fairgrounds.  image (2)

Unfortunately, the Indy Action BMX track has deteriorated due to harsh weather conditions.  The organization is in dire need of community support through volunteerism, financial assistance and donations of goods and services such as construction equipment and other materials to go toward the Track Restructure and Seal Campaign.  IAB’s last race was held in September of 2014.  They had to delay opening this year due to the weather damage and lack of equipment and finances to make the necessary changes to the track.

Indy Action BMX is in need of volunteers, construction equipment and materials along with tax deductible donations to help get the organization’s track in proper and safe working condition for BMX participants to regularly utilize it for both practices and races.   Any and all support, financial and otherwise, will be greatly appreciated by Indy Action BMX.  If you have a love for volunteering, working with children, and have the time to give, IAB would love to have you come aboard to assist with track operations and other areas. Anyone who gives a tax deductible donation will receive information on IAB’s 501c3 criteria for tax purposes.  For corporate sponsorship opportunities, please contact info@indyactionbmx.org.  image (1)
