Indy Area Meetups and Playgroups | Parents and Children

Being a parent can get lonely sometimes, and we may long to interact with other adults after long days at home with our children. Here’s a list of the Indianapolis area playgroups and meetups where children can get together and parents can build relationships with other like-minded adults! If you’re looking for your mom tribe or just some other parents to connect with, we have a great list of the best mom groups, parenting groups, and playgroups all around town.

Some of my best conversations and even some lasting friendships have come from meeting a random mom while both of our children are playing at an indoor playground, participating in our weekly baby music classes, or even watching our kids swim at Goldfish Swim School. However, before my children were old enough for those activities, I joined a group called Northside Moms and these women are some of my favorite people to hang out with.

In addition to parent groups and playgrounds, there are a lot of very cool parent-child classes in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas.
