Indiana Corn Maze Pays Tribute to Late Colts Owner Jim Irsay

GREENFIELD, Ind. — Families visiting Lark Ranch in Greenfield this fall will find more than pumpkins, carnival rides, and farm fun. This year, the farm’s signature Indiana corn maze is designed as a tribute to Jim Irsay, the longtime owner of the Indianapolis Colts, who passed away earlier this year.
The sprawling corn maze, which stretches across several acres, features an intricate design dedicated to Irsay’s life and legacy. From an aerial view, the corn stalks form patterns that highlight his decades of leadership with the Colts and his impact on the Central Indiana community.
“Jim Irsay wasn’t just a football owner—he was a part of Indianapolis,” said Adam Lark. “We wanted to honor his contributions in a way that families could experience together this fall.”

A Community Tribute

Irsay, who guided the Colts for more than two decades, is remembered not only for bringing football success to Indianapolis but also for his philanthropic work. Over the years, he supported numerous local charities, addiction recovery programs, and cultural initiatives.
For many fans, the tribute at Lark Ranch serves as a poignant reminder of how deeply connected Irsay was to the city. “It’s a fitting way to celebrate his memory,” says Katy Mann of indywithkids.com, who brought their children to explore the maze on opening weekend. “The Colts have always been part of our family traditions, just like fall festivals in Indiana.”

More Than a Corn Maze

The corn maze has long been the centerpiece of fall at Lark Ranch, which draws families from across Central Indiana and beyond. In addition to the Jim Irsay corn maze, guests can enjoy train rides, carnival rides, a petting zoo, giant slides, bounce pads, and the popular Greenfield pumpkin patch.
With one admission price covering nearly all attractions, the farm has become a fall staple for Indianapolis-area families. The tribute maze is expected to be a major draw this season, combining farm fun with a celebration of community history.
