Cornerstone Church Free Indoor Playground
Looking for a place to play on a cold or rainy day? If your kids have more energy than you and your home can handle, head to Cornerstone Lutheran Church in Fishers. Enter the main front doors and head to the back of the atrium to find a great indoor playground. The play area at CLC Fishers gives children a place to have fun – rain or shine. It provides a totally free, safe, and welcoming place for community members to bring their kids and have the opportunity to play together.
Kick Off Your Shoes – But Don’t Forget Socks!
When you arrive, you will find a storage space for shoes and coats, as well as benches and chairs available for parents to watch while the kids play. Parents are welcome to join in the fun on the playground as well. Socks are required for both children and adults, so make sure to bring them with you.
A Safe Space for the Littlest Ones
There is an enclosed toddler area for children 3 and under, providing a buffer between little ones and the busy big kids on the main playground. Babies and toddlers are protected from the hard floor by a cushioned play mat. You will also find activity toys on the walls and an upper level that includes a swinging ball feature and a double slide.
The large playground features two different slides, as well as a multilevel structure filled with a variety of features to explore. There is a child-sized rock wall on the side of the main playground. A crash mat extends to a safe distance at the base, so you don’t have to worry about injuries while your kids free climb the wall.
Space for a Quick Snack Break
Cornerstone’s playground could prove to be entertaining for hours, so a snack or lunch break may be in order during your time there. When it’s time to eat, head to the designated food and drink table outside of the playground. Thankfully, parents are allowed to bring drinks in while the kids play. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a hot cup of coffee uninterrupted!
As an added bonus in the winter, Fishers CLC also has a sledding hill behind the facility that’s available for everyone to use, the perfect size for little ones. So whether you’ll be out on the sledding hill or staying warm and dry at the indoor playground, grab a friend and plan a playdate soon at Cornerstone Lutheran Church Fishers!
