My husband and I have been on the zipline a lot this summer. Our children have been begging for their own experience. Typically, we run into limitations based on their age or their height and our own allowance for the cost of activities.
Soaring Eagle Zipline takes off from Pioneer Park in Mooresville (less than 30 minutes south of downtown Indy). Riders are required to be 42 inches tall and if they are less than 48 inches, they must ride with an adult. The fee to ride is $5 and the ride is just under one minute.

Soaring Eagle is the first seated zipline we’ve ever come across and we really liked it. We took off backwards through a clearing in the trees and ended up at the top of the tower before we were released back through the trees. The view is beautiful and will likely be even more lovely in the fall.
This experience was a lot like riding a giant, tall swing. It was very smooth and not at all jarring. My five year old loved it and wants to ride again and again.
Pioneer Park is also home to a swimming pool (closes in August) and several playgrounds. You’ll find a lot of fun programming at Pioneer Park throughout the year.
