Lunch is a tough meal for me. I feel like I’ve literally just finished the breakfast service and my kids are already asking for lunch. Meanwhile, I really have to start planning dinner too. Don’t even get me started on the snacks we go through daily during the summer. I should really meal prep a little more…
So usually I find easy things to put together for lunch. Something microwaveable or sandwich. Add fruit and voila! You have a the perfect lunch.
Except it’s not and my kids have told me so. I think school lunches have trained them to expect a warm and delicious lunch every day. It can be exhausting. But thankfully, the family of farmers has come through again with this list of easy, new, and fun lunch ideas. Whether you want a new take on an old classic or something completely different, you’ll find something you and your family can enjoy for lunch.
One things these recipes has taught me, there’s not much you can’t do with crescent rolls and most of the time you don’t need more than you already have in the pantry to make a delicious meal. And if all else fails, there’s always ice cream.
