20 Fun & Easy Breakfast Recipes

Breakfast is my favorite meal. I’ve always been one of those “breakfast eaters.” I just need the fuel to get my body moving.

But the food is not the only reason I love breakfast. It’s nostalgic–the smells, the food, the time at the table. Both of my grandmothers made a special breakfast for me when I stayed with them. One had a special casserole recipe and the smell of sausage would be our alarm clock. My other grandmother made the world’s best scrambled eggs, which I believe had something to do with butter and love.

I love the act of making breakfast for my family now. Just the time in the kitchen–time with my kids while they hatch out. Sometimes the greatest stories happen at the breakfast table. Long fish tales of dreams they’ve had. Chattering about what is going to happen today. Sometimes a little fighting, but all-in-all I think they’ll find breakfast a little nostalgic too one day.

The other day, my son asked me to make a special breakfast to celebrate the end of the school year. I listed options one-by-one and he declared he wanted something different. So in my search for something new and different, here are 20 fun and easy breakfast recipes for you to enjoy!
