Newfields, on the Indianapolis Museum of Art campus, has brought back their Community Thursdays.
Newfields offers free admission in the evening of the first Thursday of the month from March through September. To help us comply with city and state guidelines, an advance ticket is required. To reserve your tickets online, use code FIRSTTHURSDAY at checkout on general admission tickets. Code is only valid for tickets from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This will give you access to many of the popular exhibits, the Star Studio children’s space and the grounds.

At this time, a face covering or mask is required in all public spaces at Newfields for ages 2 and up. All Newfields staff and volunteers will be wearing facial coverings when in public or common areas, or within six feet of others.
Newfields had recently been best known among things to do for Indianapolis families during the holidays with their Winterlights display. The Fairbanks Park or 100 Acres Art Park is a popular spot for families to play. Admission is always free at the Fairbanks 100 Acres Art Park.
