When Lulu was two years old we were introduced to a lot of new things. She was so interested in the world around here and curious. We did and continue to do anything we can to feed that curiosity. We love sharing new things with her and seeing them through her eyes. For this reason we do a lot of things that are new even to us as adults. One cool thing that we enjoy checking out are remote controlled vehicles and aircraft.
Flight is an amazing thing and seeing a miniature runway with small planes taxiing down it and then lifting off into the sky (most of the time) is pretty awesome. Here are some places to catch a glimpse and maybe even find opportunities to get involved.
Indianapolis RC South Airfield (Rike Field) is located near the intersection of East County Road 750N (Worthsville Rd.) and North County Road 300E in Johnson County, Southeast of Greenwood, IN. Their website recommends using the address 3200 E 750 N, Greenwood on your GPS to get close. They tend to do a great job keeping up their website with times that you’ll be able to see the planes.
