2019 Live Nativity Events in Indianapolis
Light Up Danville: Christmas on the Square
Light up Danville is held on November 29th from 4pm to 8pm. This is a free evening filled with holiday cheer on Courthouse Square. Enjoy the Live Nativity and many other activities, including a trackless train, strolling Christmas characters, carolers and the lighting of the Christmas Tree.
Elwood First United Methodist Church Live Nativity
The Elwood UMC nativity will take place on December 1st as a part of their hanging of the Greens service. Sing your favorite Christmas hymns, as well as Kick off Advent with Live Nativity. The live Nativity parade will begin at 2:45 PM.
Stop by Southeastern Holiness Church anytime between 6-8pm on December 7th & 8th for their live Nativity and Christmas program. This is a 20 minute drive thru experience with free hot chocolate and cookies.

Castleton United Methodist Church in Indianapolis
The Castleton United MC Live Nativity will take place on December 13th & 14th, beginning at 6pm and ending at 9pm. The church invites the community to follow the journey that Mary and Joseph took. Don’t miss the live animals and refreshments. This is a free event.
Back to Bethlehem is held on December 5, 6 & 7: 5:30—8:30pm at Parkside Bible Church in Brownsburg. This is an interactive, walk-through live nativity that the entire family will enjoy. Featuring, live animals, indoor/outdoor activities and cultural experiences. Experience the sights, sounds, and smells of village life in Bethlehem. While you wait for your journey to begin, there’s a whole gym full of family-friendly activities like a photo booth, bounce house, crafts, minimally priced concessions, and so much more!
St. Luke’s United Methodist Church
The St. Luke’s UMC Live Nativity will take place Saturday, December 21, 4 pm & 6 pm this is a 45 minute service with an orchestra, storytelling and live animals.
Cornerstone Lutheran Church
The Cornerstone Fishers Living Nativity will take place on Saturday, December 14th from 5 pm to 8pm. Join the fun and experience a retelling of the nativity story, complete with live animals, Christmas caroling, hayrides, and more. Cost is a non-perishable food item. A portion of this event will take place outside, so please dress accordingly.
St. John’s Christkindl Village in Downtown Indianapolis will have a live nativity on December 13th as part of the Christkindl celebration held from December 12th – 15th.

The Danville UMC will offer a drive thru Live Nativity December 15th from 6-8 pm.
FBC Greenwood offers a drive-thru live nativity on Friday, December 20th from 6pm to 8pm.
The 42nd running of Anderson’s only outdoor living nativity will be held on December 14th & 15th. There’s free admission and free hot cocoa and cookies indoors after each show. Show performance times on both nights will be 5:30, 6:00, 6:30 & 7:00 PM.
Faith Church: 5526 State Road 26 E. Lafayette
The Lafayette Living Nativity takes place two weekends in December on Friday-Sunday nights (weather permitting): December 6th – 8th, 6:30-8:30pm and December 13th – 15th at 6:30-8:30pm. Admission is free; however, donations of nonperishable food items will be appreciated and accepted to support the community food pantry. This live nativity is walk thru or drive thru.
