7 Things to do this Weekend with Kids | October 14-16, 2022

Fall break is wrapping up for us and we are in full-fledged Fall mode around here. Pumpkins, leaves, cooler weather; I am here for all of it.

If you have another week of Fall break, or just looking for something to do this Fall, check out our mega list of fantastic Fall Activities or Fall Break trips worth the drive. There’s sure to be something for everyone..

The kids have been begging me for a trip to the pumpkin patch, and frankly, the hardest part is choosing which one to visit first. Waterman’s Family Farm and Lark Ranch are two of our favorites, as much for the activities as the pumpkins. Regardless of the patch you visit, make a day of it and take advantage of any beautiful Fall days we have left. What is your favorite fall activity?

Let’s go #PlayIndy!

7 Things to Do This Weekend

Dino & Dragon Stroll

The Dino & Dragon Stroll is a unique and interactive dinosaur and dragon experience. Visitors will get up close and personal for life-like encounters with life-sized dinosaurs and dragons–some measuring more than 28’ tall and 60’ wide. The creatures are produced with advanced animatronic and sound technology, truly bringing them to life—including moving heads, necks, tails, wings, eyes, and mouths; breathing movements; roars; and more. Don’t miss your chance to interact with these special creatures.

Your journey starts at Central Station where you’ll board one of the five Sullivan Express trains. Once aboard you’ll enjoy a Halloween train ride as it makes its way through the Enchanted Forest, filled with not-so-scary creatures doing some pretty unusual things.Upon arrival the Mayor of Pumpkin Town will be there to greet you and your fellow travelers. He’ll point out the attractions throughout all of the Halloween Wonderland. Maybe you’ll want to catch a magic show with one of the Pumpkin Town magicians. How about some trick-or-treating in the 4-house mini sub-division?
