We are so excited for GermanFest at the Athenaeum (401 East Michigan Street Indianapolis) on Saturday, October 12th. Tickets are available for $8 pre sale online. Tickets are $10 per person at the door and kids 12 and under are free.
There’s a special kids area with tons of fun for just $2 each for all day access. The best part of the entire event — the WIENER DOG RACES that take place on the half hour, every hour from 3:30-6:30pm. Yes, we are going JUST for the dog races! There will be fantastic food and beverage and entertainment but the DOG RACES are certain to be a HUGE hit with my kids!
There’s a Strongmen contest from 12:30pm to 5:00pm and a 5K Lederhosen Lauf Run/Walk starting at 12:30pm!
The kids area is called Zwergen-Land. You’ll find traditional German games, music, dancing and a bounce house!

1 thought on “GermanFest Includes a Kids Area AND Wiener Dog Races!”
I was wondering if this would be a good place to bring my high functioning autistic son to this he wants to race one of our wieners and does it cost to race?
