L.S.Ayres Tea Room
The historic L.S. Ayres tea room has been around since 1929 and has seen a great number of happy baby showers. The tea room has maintained its original décor, from the columns and walls to the carpets and chandeliers. Its menu features original authentic menu recipes from 1929. This unique baby shower venue is located inside the Indiana State Museum.
Traders Point Creamery
A farm-to-table restaurant situated in a 19th-century dairy barn, Traders Point Creamery is a wonderful place to host a baby shower. The barn has a beautiful, rustic feel and a dairy bar that features locally-made ice cream, yogurt, old-fashioned floats, and more. Menu items often change to accommodate seasonal produce availability. Located near historic downtown Danville, Bread Basket Café is located in a cute craftsman home and has a garden that produces ingredients utilized in their everyday menu. The café features a glass case with all sorts of cakes and desserts to choose from for your event. Inside, there’s a comforting charm to the café. The private party area for up to 10 guests features a large fireplace and pillows for a relaxing baby shower. The menu features farm-to-table food. Everything served is grown locally either in Hendricks county or from the on-site café garden. This is a great place to host a small-scale baby shower.
Laurel Hall
This is a breathtaking location to host any event, especially a baby shower. Laurel Hall was built in 1916 and was a grand home to host social gatherings. This location is such a fun and inviting space. Half Liter BBQ and Beer Hall is a Texas-style BBQ restaurant and brewery. The Liter House is a banquet area that houses two event spaces. The Liter House can accommodate parties of 20 up to 200 guests. The large main space is the Liter Room which has its own private bar area and restrooms.
