Why not celebrate the holidays with BBQ? Big Hoffa’s Smokehouse BBQ started as a food truck before expanding to its current pirate-themed restaurant on State Road 32 in Westfield. Big Hoffa’s holiday offerings include smoked turkey or ham meals to serve 10 to 15 diners. Each meal comes with one half-pan of green beans, macaroni and cheese, sweet corn, and 24 slider rolls. Order a farmhouse feast for four starting at $54.99, then heat and serve in the comforts of your own home. The Farmhouse Feast is a is a complete family meal with pot roast, slow-roasted turkey or hickory-smoked ham, sides, pie, and freshly baked rolls. Pick up available on December 24 (closed on the 25). Buca di Beppo
Known for their family style offerings of breadsticks and pasta, Buca di Beppo has locations in downtown Indianapolis, Castletown, and Greenwood offering holiday meals to go. Feed a crowd of three to five with their daily meal deals of fresh bread, salad, and daily entrée. If you need a larger meal, check out the catering or a la carte options. Place an order online for pick up, curbside pickup, or delivery.
Heat and serve options range from complete meals for a family of four to six people, to a la carte options like pies and rolls. Choose from Ham or Prime Rib heat and serve dinners with sides. Find your local Cracker Barrel and place your pre-order for pick-up December 22-24.

With 11 restaurants covering Indy and the surrounding areas you will find take-out options ranging from a Charcuterie & Cheese Board to an Angus filet & jumbo charred shrimp dinner. An annual holiday tradition for many families, Hollyhock Hill has been serving homestyle cooking in Indiana for over 90 years. A classic meal from Hollyhock features family style served fried chicken, biscuits, whipped potatoes, gravy, sweet corn, and green beans. Other entrée options include pork chops, tenderloin, filet, salmon, and pasta.
Illinois Street Food Emporium
A Butler Tarkington neighborhood staple since 1979, the Illinois Street Food Emporium offers a variety of brunch offerings, appetizer platters, box lunches, catered entrees, and delicious desserts. They will be open limited hours on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day through January 5. If you visit, be sure to try the amazing frosted sugar cookies.
One of my family’s favorite ways to support local shops and farms is by shopping via Market Wagon. Featuring offerings of a farmers market with the option to pick up at local spots for free or home delivery for a fee. Several vendors offer ready made meal options that arrive ready to heat. Other shops and farms feature sides, fresh produce, and homemade dessert. Options available for those with allergies.

Who wouldn’t enjoy a gourmet Christmas or New Year’s Eve meal to go from Oakley’s Bistro? Options include roasted chestnut soup with brandy, herb crusted prime rib with double baked potato, lobster bisque, and build your own Manhattan.
Pots & Pans Pie Co.
From savory to sweet, Pots & Pans Pie Company of Indianapolis features a wide variety of pies for dinner and dessert. Sizes range from mini pies to nine inch. Current options include chicken pot pie, broccoli cheddar, green chile pork pot pie. Kids and adults alike would enjoy the dessert pies of hot cocoa, sugar cream apple, and sugar crème brule pies. Orders can be placed online and picked up the next day. Their website lists holiday hours as well as current pies.
Sahm’s Family of Restaurants
The Sahm’s family of restaurants just posted their holiday menus for all locations. With locations including Broad Ripple, Nora, Carmel, Fishers, and Bloomington, Sahm’s take and bake meal includes items that will be chilled when picked up. Preparation instructions will be provided. The meal includes smoked turkey or glazed ham, cauliflower au gratin, twice baked potato casserole, roasted beets, stuffing, gravy, broccoli salad, cranberry sauce, Rockstone salad with balsamic and ranch dressings, yeast rolls with honey butter, and cinnamon pecan coffee cake. The Holiday Green Box from Seasons 52 feeds for four to six and features your choice of entrée, salad, sides and six complimentary desserts. If you prefer to have sweets only, you can opt for the mini indulgences boxes featuring treats such as Belgian chocolate s’mores, coconut cream pie, cookies ‘n’ cream, key lime pie, peanut butter torte, and raspberry chocolate chip cannoli.
Have a family member with food allergies? Whole Foods may be a good holiday meal option, as it includes dietary preferences such as dairy free and gluten free. You can place your order online and then pick up at one the Whole Food locations in Indianapolis or Carmel. Holiday food can be ordered as a meal or a la carte. Options include paleo, vegan, and organic, as well as classic. Appetizers, soups, and desserts round out the offerings.
Orders must be made a minimum of 24 hours ahead of pickup date and time for Holiday Selections and 48 hours for Everyday Selections.
