Grab your hiking boots and head to Eagle Creek Park for Books and Boots! The book for Winter Break will be “Snack, Snooze, Skedaddle How Animals Get Ready for Winter” by Laura Purdie Salas and illustrated by Claudine Gevry. The activities we do during our hike will depend if the weather looks more like fall or more like winter when we meet.
This program takes place at the EDC shelter. There is no need to register. This program is free with park admission.
More info about Books and Boots: Books and Boots takes place during school breaks and is a perfect “staycation” activity for those looking for some outdoor adventure. Come dressed for the weather and being outdoors.
Two Sessions:

Sessions will be the same book, but nature is always changing.
Recommended for ages 5-9. An adult must stay with their children for the duration of the program.
