Registration is through Eventbrite. Families may be asked to pay a supply fee, and fees are non-refundable. Seeds of Caring notes that families who need help covering supply fees may email indy@seedsofcaring.org for assistance.
Details
Seeds of Caring Indianapolis invites children and families to assemble comfort kits for mothers navigating challenging medical situations, including NICU hospital stays. Families will show appreciation for moms, make cards, and assemble care kits filled with comfort and self-care items to be shared with moms receiving care for their babies in local hospital NICUs.
Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings outside the listed age range are welcome, though the event notes they may find the experience less meaningful or fulfilling.
What to Expect
Families can expect a hands-on service project designed to help kids give back with their hearts, hands, and minds. The event lasts 90 minutes and takes place in person at The Milk Bank.
