Looking for something fun for your kids to do while they are on spring break? Tuttle Orchards is offering a fun learning opportunity for elementary aged kids and their parents to explore some science on the farm. This experience lasts approximately one hour and is designed for children 5 to 10 years old.
Experience includes:
Observation and discussion about seeds, roots, stems, leaves, and flowers.
Time in the greenhouse to see how plants are grown and transplanted.
Talk about how things grow in a hands-on environment.
Skit for the students to learn about photosynthesis.
Hands on planting activity with a plant to take home.
Dates and Times:

April 2 at 10:30 am
(Additional classes may be added as these classes fill.)
$10.00 – For 1 Child (ages 2 to 13) PLUS 1 Adult. Includes the lesson, greenhouse tour, and a hands-on planting activity for the child. Adults may help their child with the planting activity, but they will not get their own plant.
$10.00 – For 1 Additional Child (ages 2 to 13). Includes the lesson, greenhouse tour, and a hands-on planting activity for the child. Adults may help their child with the planting activity, but they will not get their own plant.
$4.00 – Additional Spectator Ticket (ages 14 and up). All additional spectators MUST purchase a $4.00 ticket to attend this event. Adults may help their child with the planting activity, but they will not get their own plant.
Kids 1 & under – Free (with a paid sibling) if they don’t plan to participate in the activity. They will need to sit on an adult’s lap or in a stroller as seating may be limited. Some choose to purchase tickets for their 12-23 months kids who want to participate in the planting activity. Parents can choose based on their child’s needs.
Advance Tickets are Required as space is limited. Additional classes may be added as classes fill.
Tractor Town is not open in March and April, except for our Easter Event on March 29 and 30.
