Celebrate the Indianapolis 500 with a 500-inspired tricycle race. The Perry Crossing 500 is back by popular demand in celebration of the nationally recognized Indy 500 race as a fun, family-oriented event with tricycle race categories for children ages 4-7, 8-12, 13-17 and adults 18+. The mini tricycle course loops around the Town Square oval, with the youngest age group circling around the Center fountain. Participants will be able to check in for the race beginning at 9:30 a.m. The winner of each heat will compete in the championship race for their own category and receive a prize package from The Shops at Perry Crossing. There will be a special tricycle race category featuring local Plainfield policemen and firefighters as well.

The event will feature 500 crowd-favorite festival princesses on-site to kick off each race, a 2023 Pace Car on-site for photo ops and the Driving for Dyslexia charity featuring Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing USF2000 driver and national champion kart racer, Elliot Cox. Additionally, the event offers a memorable award ceremony with milk showers and trophies, a photo backdrop with fun props, a DJ/emcee, yard games, therapy dogs, and other activities for all ages to enjoy.

The event is free and open to the public. Tickets are on a first come first serve basis and are only required for participants. Register to reserve your spot to race.
